I just had FIOS service (Internet and TV) installed. I find the speed amazing. They said it can be even faster if the google dns is used. Has anyone tried that with FIOS.

I did, it does make a difference. It is really easy to change the settings on your Mac or PC to take advantage of this. here is the Google DNS page link they did a great job in explaining how to take advantage of it.
